DREAM - Car Explosion My son left Boston for an interview at the University of Michigan Law school. He decided to drive his very old Volvo. He arrived safely but while he was there I had a terrible dream that a car totally blew up in a flash of consuming flames. I was concerned for my son and asked that he call me throughout his return trip. He complied and his last call was to tell me he was on the Mass Pike and almost home. His next phone call was to tell me that right after parking his car in front of his apartment and stepping out of it with keys in his hand, his car blew up and took out the pick up truck near by.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:The day before I worried about the age of his Volvo enduring such a long trip. His first old Volvo saved his life in a car crash four years earlier when he was hit by a drunk driver. It turns out this Volvo had had a recall for ignition troubles but the previous owner obviously did not heed the advise to have the problem fixed. I have had several premonition dreams of this nature before. My dreams are usually just quick impressions of a vivid scene without specific information however within two or three days, that scene is recreated always with a close family member involved. If my dreams are related to more global events, then I am not aware of it.

OFFICIAL DREAM ANALYSIS : Many people say that dreams like this are just coincidence. But I think that there is too much happening here for this to be coincidence. You knew that there ignition problems - but no one could have predicted an explosion like this. I do not know what causes these dreams. But we do seem to be able to see into the future.
