THE DREAM The following are short summaries of dream which all contain 'cancer'. I have tried best to isolate the symbolic meaning of 'cancer' in each dream.

A dream where the dreamer is told that 'nothing can be done' linked to him feeling very depressed the day before. He had tried to make new friends but his illness was holding him back. He was feeling a real sense of hopelessness.

A cancer dream linked to the dreamer quitting smoking. This was reducing his chances of getting cancer.

A dream where the dreamer was shedding tears for cancer linked to her fathers sister dying from cancer. The dream was symbolic of her thoughts about how to deal with this. When her mothers sister died of cancer no one talked about their feelings. She was hoping that people would be able to express their feelings this time.

A dream where the dreamer feels her friends pain as she died with cancer linked to her mourning this death. So the cancer represented her thoughts about someone who had died of cancer.
