THE DREAM The following are short summaries of dream which all contain clowns. I have tried best to isolate the symbolic meaning of clowns in each dream.

A clown dream linked to the dreamer having just had an abortion. The clown symbolised her husbands attempts to deal with this but not doing very well. He was trying to put on a brave face but this was all a little false.

A clowns dream linked to the dreamer having lots of disruption in her life. Her sister had run away from home and she wanted to talk about this with her friends but they were not able to offer much in the way of support - their attempts to cheer her up were rather artificial (telling her to cheer up).

A clown dream linked to the dreamers worries about her room mate Sometimes she felt that she was a bit false and deceptive.

A clown dream linked to the dreamer not wanting to do a business presentation as this made him look foolish - the previous one he just messed up.
