THE DREAM The following are dreams from my collection which all include references to railways. I have tried to isolate the symbolic meaning of the railways.

A railway dream seemed to link to the dreamer being forced into something. He ended up having to confront someone - he did not want his life to revolve around looking after them. The railway symbolised the dreamer being forced along certain lines - given little option but to cause a scene.

A railway dream linked to the dreamer trying to tell someone but they were unwilling to listen. They had a one track mind.

A railway dream linked to the dreamer not wanting to be like some girls she knew. They had one track minds - they only ever thought about guys.

A railway dream linked to the dreamer disliking disruption to his routine. He liked to keep to a routine.

A train dream linked to the dreamer getting into a rut. He needed to do something new - break the routine and not just go down the 'same line' every single time.

A train dream symbolised the dreamers life heading just in one direction - he had become unemployed and his life was heading downhill.
